New York has been called many things. In 1646 it was New Amsterdam, and the men who built it wore knee-length trousers that a city would eventually name its basketball team after. This scarf starts there. The Garden on 34th Street, the skyline that watches over it, the retired numbers hanging from the rafters, the four hundred years of history that make this the most storied arena in the most storied city in the world.

The Knickerbocker Scarf is an independent work, inspired by the energy of New York, the sport of basketball, and the iconic place where the two have met for over seventy years. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by any team or league. It is a love letter to a city, drawn by hand, printed on silk.
