The Dallas silk cashmere wrap worn at sunset above the city

A TCC co-creation

The Dallas Collection

In July we asked you what belongs in a Dallas design. You wrote back with the buildings you grew up with, the places you celebrated and the massive cowboy above the parade grounds. This collection is drawn from those answers.

The Dallas Collection

Three ways to carry Dallas

For the first time ever, a co-create comes three ways: the silk scarf, the silk cashmere wrap (our newest piece) and our first co-create silk ribbon.

Chapter one

What Dallas told us

In July we asked one question: what does Dallas mean to you? 36 of you wrote back with the corners you walk past every day, the buildings you grew up with and the places you were married. Fourteen of those places made it onto the scarf.

  1. 1Fair Park Ferris Wheel
  2. 2Reunion Tower
  3. 3Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge
  4. 4The Flying Pegasus
  5. 5Lakewood & Inwood Theaters
  6. 6Cowboy
  7. 7The Old Red Courthouse
  8. 8Highland Park Village
  9. 9The Adolphus Hotel
  10. 10The Rosewood Mansion
  11. 11Bluebonnets
  12. 12The Neiman Marcus Building
  13. 13The Women's Museum

Chapter two

Design development

Fourteen landmarks had to become one square. Each one is drawn once, then turned and repeated so the scarf reads the same from every side, however you tie it.

The first colorways explored warm oranges, corals and peach. Then the design moved to blue, the color more of you named than any other.

Chapter three

The final design

The final scarf is drawn in blues, with green for the bluebonnet fields and red for the Pegasus.

For the first time ever, we decided to expand the collection. Alongside the silk scarf, Dallas comes as a silk cashmere wrap, our newest piece, redrawn in teal and rose for cooler days, and as a silk ribbon, our first for a co-create, with Reunion Tower and the Pegasus along its length.

Samples and the reveal

The first samples arrived in the studio in October. These are my notes from checking each piece, straight from the studio.

The packaging

Ready to give

You told us you wanted to know what is on each design. We listened. Every box now holds an insert with a numbered diagram of the design, so you can find each landmark and the story behind it.

And we tucked a little something extra inside, just for opening day. We will let you find it.
